Help & frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

Choose a tool from the homepage, select a file and review the options. After processing, use the download button to save the result.

Which files are supported?

PDF tools accept PDFs. Image conversion accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP. Word conversion supports DOCX, PowerPoint supports PPTX and Excel supports XLSX, XLS and CSV. Legacy DOC and PPT files should first be saved as DOCX and PPTX.

Why does my converted file look different?

Word and Excel extraction works with selectable PDF text and does not recreate complex layouts. Scanned PDFs require OCR. PDF to PowerPoint creates a slide image for each page. Office to PDF conversion supports common text, tables and images; complex charts and fonts may differ.

Compression and editing

Lossless compression preserves document content but cannot always reduce size. Smaller raster compression produces image-based pages, removes interactive features and may reduce quality. Redaction permanently rasterizes the page and removes the selected region; the result no longer has selectable text or links.

What are the limits?

Each file can be up to 100 MB, subject to your device's available memory. Image processing and OCR use more memory; OCR is limited to 30 pages per run to keep the browser responsive.

Need to work with a locked file?

Use Unlock PDF with the correct password first, then open the unlocked result in the other tools.
