Document processing

Toolvix PDF tools process the documents you select locally in your browser. The tools do not upload your document contents or PDF passwords to our servers. Temporary document data and download links exist in the browser session. Closing the tab releases the session; downloaded files remain on your device.

Website information

Like other websites, the hosting service may record technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and time, for operation and security. Existing WordPress plugins may use cookies or collect usage information according to their configuration. This local document processing statement does not imply that all website traffic is anonymous.

Browser storage

Theme choice, favorite tool IDs and recently opened tool IDs may be saved in this browser. Document contents, filenames and PDF passwords are not included in that history. Use Clear history on the homepage to remove recently opened tools. OCR may cache its language files in your browser to speed up later use. Toolvix does not intentionally store your documents in browser storage.

Your choices

You can clear browser site data and cookies through your browser settings. Do not select documents on a shared device unless you trust that device. No tool can protect a document from malicious software or extensions installed on your computer.
